Taught by my husband, and other dads who have experience in hospital and home birth settings and share their experience with your partner one on one answering questions and sharing wisdom from his perspective as the non birthing person in the room.

This course designed by a Dad Doula for father-to-be's to help them become the best support system for their partners. My husband shared what he has learned so much from his journey through his partnership and curiosity. We assessed that there is a need amongst some Dad's to engage more with others in a safe space and discuss all the particulars of supporting our partners before, during, and after labor but also just talking through any questions that Dads-to-be may have.

As we have provided this course to Dads-to-be this far, the feedback has been phenomenal.

As stated by my husband, 'A lot of men still struggle to honestly articulate their concerns in spaces where we lack knowledge. Having a safe space where we can learn and speak to someone in confidence about this important and impactful topic seems to truly seems to be needed and has been well received."

We're hoping to create an army of Doula Dad's out there that will show up for their partners before, during, after labor and beyond but also begin to build a network of men who support women within our community and feel supported themselves.
